About Hjälpkorset

We care for people and we care for nature.

By running the Hjälpkorset, we get the opportunity to contribute to taking care of both. With a focus on sustainability, together with you, we help people in need. By donating the things you no longer need to us, you contribute to the circular economy. Those items get a new life instead of ending up in the garbage, and by reselling them, we help people living in poor conditions. We care about many causes: helping people in war zones, human rights, helping children get an education, to name a few. We do this by supporting organizations that often work directly on the ground with the local communities.

Who we are

Hjälpkorset is is a non-profit organization founded in 2024 with the goal of helping others. While the state of the world today can feel overwhelming, we decided not to despair but to do our part to make it better. We believe that everyone can make a difference, and any action, no matter how small or big, create an impact when done regularly. We believe in the power of community and sustainability. By promoting the circular economy and reuse, we strive to create a better future for both people and the environment.

Why we do what we do

You know how they say - one man's trash is another man's treasure? By buying second-hand, you participate in the circular economy and give an item a new life. Not only that, but with your purchase, you contribute to donations for charitable organizations working on issues such as helping people in war zones, children's education, and more. This approach is kind to both nature and others. It's a win-win if you ask us!

How we work

To achieve our goals, we are dedicated to working with local organizations that address issues on the ground. We work with a variety of international charities and focus on current issues that directly affect people and communities. By establishing strong partnerships, we ensure that aid reaches where it is needed most. We also handle all the items that we receive but cannot sell (due to damage for example) with environment in mind. This means we sort and recycle these items to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
